A very long trek to see a waterfall. Although the environment is very beautiful and looks like a movie set, I think that the trekking does not justify the end. It's 5 hours round trip

AVERAGE DIFFICULTY IN APRIL. It starts from Pampa Linda, to get there there are buses/buses that leave from the city of Bariloche, and if not you go by car, the road is largely dirt, with beautiful landscapes, it is worth stopping and taking photos, you only pay one entrance fee at the entrance to the Nahuel Huapi National Park, which if I remember correctly was 7,000 pesos. As for the trail, we were here recently with some friends (April 2025). We are all around 35 years old, but the trekking was more complicated for those who did not have experience and training. It has flat areas and areas with elevation at times. On the way, it took us approximately 2:30 hours to get 2/3 of the way, and at that moment 5 of my friends turned back. The two of us who remained continued until the end: it is supposed to take approximately 1 more hour from there, but it took us 45 minutes, because we accelerated the pace, due to the schedule. It is advisable to leave early (I recommend starting the path around 9/10am at least to arrive in time, we started late, around 12:30pm and we arrived at 4pm or so at the end and the return journey took us a little less than 2 hours, so at 6pm or so we arrived at the beginning). You reach some beautiful waterfalls, which fall from an imposing rock wall. We went in Autumn, which means that at this time the flow is not so important, I imagine that the scenery must be much more majestic in Spring, the time of thaw. In my opinion, the path is not very demanding, but it is long, and for those who do not have physical preparation, it can be complicated.

The one who says "a very long path for a waterfall" understands absolutely nothing... it is a jump almost 400 meters high! a glacier that melts and falls, it is a beautiful and super enjoyable trail, it depends on the time of year and the amount of water you are going to see fall, in summer a lot more water falls, I went in April and it is as seen in the photos. It is about 7km one way but quite easy to travel. Something to highlight is that few people go and for a large part of the trail you will be alone and at least I like that tranquility. The most tedious thing is the car trip to Pampa Linda, but it is a must... the trail and the end of the route are a 10!!! No way Federico Brummer... he doesn't know anything!!!

Trek of approximately 2 hours one way and 1.45 return... it leaves from Pampa Linda, it has a slight slope and there are some shortcuts in the form of stairs. The trail is like going to the other mailing until you reach a fork that is well signposted
