Baine’s Lodge was exceptional! We spent 3 night and had an amazing time. The game drives are first rate, our guide Zero was outstanding, imparting so much local knowledge that we have all come away richer. The food, rooms and service were all very high quality. As one of 12 guests in total, the individual attention to detail is fantastic. Our game drives were full of adventure and we saw so many animals. Zero is a skilled tracker as well as describing and interpreting what we were seeing. I could list all the animals, but 2 leperds, 11 lionesses and a couple of male loins were tops for us. We also saw hippos, bucks, mongoose, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, zebra and wild dogs. If it was in the area, Zero knew where it would be. We rate Baine’s as an 11 out if 10 quite exceptional and we can’t wait for our next visit. A big thank you to all the staff at Baine’s for the amazing experience. The restaurant and bar staff were also fantastic.

Our stay at this Botswana lodge was honestly unforgettable. The staff made the experience so special from start to finish — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The guides were incredible and happily answered every single question we threw at them. We especially loved that they would sit and have breakfast with us, sharing stories and teaching us even more about the area and wildlife. The amount of wild life that you could see at all times of the day just from the dining area/pool/rooms was insane. The food was phenomenal. While we didn’t have any dietary restrictions ourselves, it was clear they went above and beyond to accommodate guests’ preferences and would happily make things not even on the menu. That level of care really stood out. The river cruise and mokoro excursions were absolute highlights and gave us such a beautiful, peaceful perspective of the Delta. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. And after long days in the African heat, the AC felt like an actual lifesaver. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal. We left already wanting to come back.

This was a dream come true! The rooms were spectacular, the food was superb, and the game drives were over the top. Best for the big cats, we saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a small cat I can't recall. Those, and many other animals are guide specialties. Oh, and boat rides too -a perfect experience.
