It's a wonderful 7.5 mile trail. I would rate it a 3/5 in terms of barefoot walking, lots of roots and gravel that can hurt the bottoms of your feet, but as long as you walk carefully you'll be fine. I don't recommend trying to bike this trail, the roots are crazy and you won't get far.

It is a 7 mile loop with some walking alongside Johns river. Well marked. Many gators and water moccasins alongside. Many birds and busy river traffic. Dog friendly but keep in leash. Lots of roots, moderate difficulty. Some horse traffic too.

Did all 7 miles and it was a blast. I saw 12 alligators and 1 black bear. The area is very well maintained.
