Manzanita Campground is ideal for tent campers, as it does not accommodate RVs or trailers, creating a quieter and more traditional camping atmosphere. The campground offers 18 well-maintained sites that come with amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Vault toilets and drinking water are available onsite, but hookups are not provided. What sets this campground apart is the creekside location—many sites allow direct access to Oak Creek, where you can enjoy the soothing sound of running water throughout your stay.

Hiking & Outdoor Activities Nearby From Manzanita Campground, you have quick access to some incredible trails in Oak Creek Canyon, such as the West Fork Trail, known for its stunning canyon views and seasonal fall foliage. For those looking to cool off, swimming and wading in Oak Creek are popular activities. Alternatively, a short drive will take you to Sedona’s iconic red rock hiking destinations like Cathedral Rock or Devil’s Bridge.

Peaceful Atmosphere The intimate size of the campground limits the number of visitors, offering a peaceful retreat compared to larger, busier campgrounds in the region. Spring (March-May) and Fall (September-November) are ideal due to mild temperatures. Summers can be hotter, but the shade and creek mitigate the heat.
