Beautiful, sandy gravel paths wide enough so that you don't have to worry about ticks. A nice mix of shady and sunny trails with beautiful views of meadows and ponds. I especially like the visitor center with the taxidermy birds. The woman who worked there, christine, was very friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to get some exercise, see and hear lots of birds, and get away from noise.

Easy, level trails with nice wildlife observation decks throughout. Great place for a stroll or wildlife watching. Bring telephoto lenses. We saw frogs, turtles, chipmunks, and various bird species.

So very peaceful and lots of beautiful paths winding around fields leading towards pond. A look out magnifier will allow you to see birds across the pond, in the distance!
