Fairly large campground but some great super-private sites from abot 93-98. Hiking trails right from campgrounds that lead to fallen leaf lake. Much quieter than the big lake and you can take your dog! There are showers, but the one I saw was pretty old and crummy.

Campground had some great sites but a few less than ideal ones. Bathrooms were well kept in our loop (178). Campground traffic was minimal, bike to lake was chill. Windy so we flew a kite and swam and kept the paddleboards in the van. Did have one night a generator ran all night. Derick the host was rad. He was super nice, relaxed and got his job done. More campground hosts should act like Derick. Definitely a beautiful spot. Be sure to get diabetes, I mean, extremely good ice cream at Camp Richardson ice cream parlor.
