Lost Creek Falls and trailhead is a good place to see a pretty waterfall without putting in a tremendous amount of effort. The fall is about 200 yards from the parking area, if that. You do have to navigate 20 or 30 steps as you make your way down, but it's not that strenuous. There is also a cave, if you like to explore. I think you are supposed to get a permit, but I'd bet few do. If you go early in the morning, you'll probably have the place all to yourself as it is a bit off the beaten path. The fall also changes often based on rainfall. I was there in the middle of August and the foliage was ultra green, but it's also pretty in the fall.

There was no waterfall just a trickle over rocks all creeks where dried up from no rain

Very pretty waterfall. Easy hike. 2 trails. One to the top of the falls and one to the bottom. Both are short trips. You can climb the rocks to get behind the waterfall. There is also a cave near the bottom of the waterfall. There is a permit required to enter the cave.
