It's a beautiful area. Great campground, pay to park and you can park in any of the lots ($6.00 a day).

A very beautiful beach and also has the old Fort. You can go check out so there’s a lot to do here. Definitely plan a day. Bring the family and have some fun in the sun.

This park is great for a full day visit. There are beaches, picnic areas, bathrooms, piers, a historic fort and a gift shop/grill. I almost strictly go to see the wildlife. Lots of trails and plenty to see. You can rent kayaks, there are lots of bike trails and plenty of places to go fishing. The dog park is very nice and well taken care of. There are a few tolls on the way and a parking fee for the day. Lots of parking and every part of the park offers something a little different. The bathrooms are clean but I have to say they are quite out of date. The stalls are so small my feet stick out under the door when I sit down and my knees almost hit the door. The entire park is very clean and there is usually a ranger somewhere nearby. All around an amazing park I always highly recommend, especially to my birding friends.
