White sand, blue clear water. People are calm and quiet. Parking is abundant but showers are scant. Only found one shared shower out in the open. Late April, water was COLD.

Very nice large sandy beach. It's incredibly beautiful. The parking lot is very large and costs $6 daily. We are here often and enjoy the space. The toilets are clean. We can recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately the snack bar is closed.

Love this park and all aspects of it with the exception of the bathrooms. They are disgusting. Take the non.workimg shower stalls and turn them into change rooms and more bathrooms and hire someone to keep the bathrooms clean. Shame on you for all the promotions for this park, and you have the honor of some of the most disgusting bathrooms in florida parks. I have visited Desoto many times, and the bathrooms continue to be gross and philthy!
