Almost 4 mile hike. Beautiful 💖 After a rain a few days before, forest was abundant in all kinds of shrooms! Seen a copperhead sleeping under the laurel. Evidence of bears. Hike is a moderate hike. Some uphill, some down. Nice wide path. Found a "fairy house" and the view of the lake was gorgeous 😍

I wouldn't say the trail is hard, but it isn't easy. The payoff is at the overlook. Amazing views worth the walk.
