We hiked all the way from Nakatsugawa to Magome-juku then to Tsumago-juku then we walked to Nagiso station. It took us the whole day. Elevation was overall around 500m up and maybe 500m down. We walked around 30km. It was an incredible day. Magome-juku is located on the top of the mountain, and was very touristic with beautiful views. Tsumago is located lower, no breathtaking views, but the village is very authentic and almost no tourists were here.

BEAUTIFUL! The hike between magome and tsumago is amazing. There's a free tea house in the middle for a nice break in the middle. Was rather social, too!
