It was hiking up the mountain varied terrain. Then it was rock climbing it had to be careful. a little even the edge of the mountain it was hiking up so towards the top and to the middle of the mountain it was about 7 kilometers and 1737 m.a.s.l. the hike takes about 6- to 8 hours. Enjoy the expedition. .

One of the best hikes I ever did. We did it in 5 hours, but the average is between 6-8 hours. We started at Memurubu, which you can reach by boat. It is advised to buy tickets beforehand since it can get busy, you need a creditcard for this. After you arrive at Memurubu, the trail is easy to see. The first part is pretty steep and long. After that you have some 'easier' parts. There we also spotted some reindeer! You follow the trail by following the 'T' marked on several rocks. Once you get to the actual ridge make sure you are prepared. This can get pretty rocky. You have to climb and scramble to get up and you have steep grounds next to you. With of course, beautiful views. Once you get to the top, it's still a pretty long walk back to the bus stop. Once you're back, you can grab some food and a drink. It can get windy and cold so bring proper gear and trekking poles. Also, there is a toilet at the start of the trail and at Gjendesheim. But not during the trail. So make sure you do your business beforehand. Overall a brilliant trail with awesome views. If you are fit I would recommend this to everyone! 10/10
