Worth the drive to the main parking lot for the easy lookout and view. Also washrooms. Easy to access with small children. There is a park entrance fee and parking fee but considering you’re supporting the maintenance of the park, it’s fine. If you’re worried about the cost, choose an earlier lookout point.

Wonderful drive up the mountain to the end and back, lots of viewpoints to stop at, trails to hike down if so inclined, a museum, gift shop, and restaurant. Absolutely worth the drive.
