I stopped by here in the winter just recently on my way to ski at sugarbush n walked/hiked as much as I could of it and thought it was amazingly awesome! Others were here cross country skiing and snowshoeing it. It’s more of a warmer weather summer place, and I’ll come back in warmer temperatures as I want to swim here under the waterfalls.

I first went here in 1973. Just a cool hippie hang out, couple of dozen people. Then, during a heat wave in 2015, I went back. Just to see if it was as beautiful as I thought. Nothing changed. It was stupendous. When it’s very hot, go. It will blow your mind. Like a natural waterpark. Made by mother nature. It was a little more crowded, but that didn’t matter much. The place is a gem, other worldly perfection. (Parking can get tight, be patient🫵🙏) And a very cute little town nearby, the little store has great sandwiches and a little deck overlooking the waterfall there. I’ve been to other waterfalls in Vermont, but this one takes the cake. ❤️😊☮️
