Such an awesome place to visit and it is super reasonable to take the whole family. There were a lot of attractions included for the entry fee. The mermaids were so nice and did such a great performance!

Overall, the park was clean and visually appealing. The mermaid show was unique, though it might not appeal to everyone. However, the experience felt a bit costly, with additional fees for bringing your own kayak or paddleboard, including a required reservation and launch fee. One downside was observing a uniformed park ranger or staff speeding up and down the river in a motorized boat, frequently getting stuck in shallow areas and using excessive force to move through, which disrupted the environment. If you bring your own equipment, note that the park does not provide a shuttle service. You’ll need to arrange transportation, such as an Uber, from Rogers Park back to the starting point, as returning upstream is not allowed. Additionally, there wasn’t a lot of visible wildlife during our visit, which was somewhat disappointing.
