Beach Bliss at Zanpa Beach, Okinawa

The beach is ok The sand isn't soft There are restrooms, showers, and lifeguards There aren't many people there There are sun loungers and inflatables, but everything is available for a fee, of course Showers are 200 rubles for 5 minutes, and there are lockers for storage.

Beautiful beach with excellent amenities: showers, changing rooms, lockers, and foot baths. You can also rent loungers and umbrellas for a fee, or you can use the free area. You'll also find a small restaurant serving hot meals. All these services, including orders for the small restaurant, are placed through a vending machine near the restaurant. Overall, with clean sea, white sand, and all these excellent amenities, why not give it at least 4 stars? Because part of the beach has been equipped with a fairly large children's play area, so water games are organized that don't leave you feeling the peace and quiet you're looking for. Swimming is also permitted in a small, fairly enclosed section of the bay.

Nice beach, well guarded and offers you to clean yourself afterwards. Unfortunately you have to still go over the sand to go back to the car.

We experienced the Zanpa Water Athletics course at Zanpa Beach, right in front of the Grand Mercure Hotel! * Age Restrictions and Rules: The course is for ages 5 and up. Children aged 5 to elementary school age must be accompanied by an adult (for a fee), and there's a strict rule of up to two children per adult. Life jackets are provided free of charge, but the area with the athletic course is deep enough that even adults can't touch the bottom, so the key is whether your child is afraid of floating in the water. * Price and System: There are 8 sessions per day (every hour from 9:30 to 16:30), with each session lasting approximately 50 minutes. Visitor fees are 2,500 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children, but hotel guests can play for free once per night, making it quite a bargain. * Advice: Marine shoes are not available for rent. Going barefoot is quite slippery and exhausting, and the equipment can get hot in the middle of summer, so I highly recommend bringing your own water shoes! The safety management was excellent, and it was a fantastic activity that both children and adults could genuinely enjoy.
