Set in the rolling Norfolk countryside on the former RAF West Raynham airbase, this five‑day, four‑night residential with Scorpion Airsoft places participants into fast, realistic training: close‑quarters battle drills in a WW2 hospital complex, escape and evasion exercises, night hostage rescues and beach games — all run by an ex‑military and firefighter team intent on building teamwork, leadership and resilience.

Gameplay is staged in unique locations on the former RAF site, including the WW2 RAF Hospital complex, with dedicated CQB drills and full scenario missions designed to feel like authentic tactical operations.

Meet at Building 23, West Raynham Business Park, West Raynham, Norfolk, NR21 7PL for arrival and briefing.
Bring clothing and footwear suitable for strenuous outdoor activity and the operator’s specified kit; personal airsoft equipment is permitted but will be tested for compliance and is brought at the owner’s risk.
You must complete the medical section during booking, declare all prior injuries or serious illnesses and report any changes before the course; refusal on medical grounds is possible.

Does airsoft hurt?
Yes. Airsoft can hurt; pain depends on factors such as distance, clothing and adrenaline. BBs can leave welts and bruises depending on range and clothing worn.
Do I have to be completing my DofE award to attend?
No. You do not have to be completing Duke of Edinburgh to attend youth courses as long as you are aged 16–25; adult courses require participants to be 18+.
Can I bring my own airsoft equipment?
Yes. You may bring your own equipment, but the operator cannot be held responsible for loss or damage; all replica imitation firearms will be tested to ensure they conform to the relevant FPS/Joule limits.
Is this residential accepted as a Gold DofE residential?
The programme is designed to meet the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award requirements while offering a more challenging and memorable experience than simply completing a requirement.
