High‑G: A warbird combat mission over Sydney’s southern parklands.
High G is an adrenaline‑driven combat mission run by ACES — Air Combat Experience Sydney. Participants strap into the rear seat of a warbird trainer, receive a full safety and mission briefing, then fly over Sydney’s southern parklands for ground‑attack and air‑to‑air aerobatic sequences that can be tailored to personal comfort.

Outing Highlights
Vintage warbird trainer, rear‑seat immersion
You’ll sit behind a 400 hp radial engine in a warbird trainer, taxi for takeoff and experience the sounds and vibration unique to these classic combat trainers.
Simulated strafing and ground attack
The mission includes high‑speed attack runs on ground targets — operator briefings and simulated strafing put you low and fast over a radar site and a dam as part of the flight objectives.
Combat aerobatics tuned to your comfort
After the ground‑attack phase the pilot conducts an aerobatic air‑to‑air sequence built from classic combat maneuvers; participants feel the effect of high‑G flying and can customise the intensity in constant contact with the pilot.
What the day feels like
What the mission actually feels like
The experience begins with a detailed briefing covering the aircraft, safety procedures and mission objectives. Once strapped into the rear seat the aircraft taxis and takes off for a flight that blends low‑level attack runs with aerobatic combat — all adjustable to your comfort level — and concludes with a return to Bankstown and a post‑flight debrief.
