At the Aquarium Restaurant in Kemah, the Animal Meets & Greets offer private groups an exclusive opportunity to meet 1–3 ambassador animals — a rotating mix of snakes, turtles, lizards and invertebrates — led by a knowledgeable educator. Participants learn about each animal’s adaptations, may observe enrichment (not a guaranteed interaction), and are offered a chance to take a picture with the animal; specific animal requests and hands‑on interaction are not guaranteed.

Ambassador reptiles and invertebrates
The Aquarium’s ambassador roster includes snakes, turtles, lizards and invertebrates; each species is presented to your private group by an educator who explains their special adaptations.
Educator‑led presentation with a photo opportunity
Groups will learn about the animals, may observe enrichment (if the animals choose to participate) and will have the opportunity to pose for a photo; interactive activities and specific animal choices are subject to the animals’ willingness.
Small private groups and clear pricing
Sessions are private for up to six participants (children and adults). Rates are $75 plus tax for one animal and $100 plus tax for three animals, and each option includes Stingray Reef entry admissions.

What to expect during a meet & greet
You’ll check in with the Aquarium team, then a knowledgeable educator will introduce the ambassador animals, describe their adaptations and present any enrichment; you may have a brief photo opportunity with the animal. Sessions are short — expect roughly 10–15 minutes for a single‑animal visit and about 20–30 minutes if you book three animals — and the exact length depends on the animals, your group size and level of participation.
