There is no on-site storage for lunches, coats, or backpacks—keep lunches on the bus or in backpacks. Students are recommended to wear name tags with school and teacher contact info. Dress warmly if you plan to eat outdoors.
School group lunches should be kept on the bus or in backpacks and can be eaten on the grass next to the Aquarium; indoor space is extremely limited in poor weather. For groups of up to 20 who wish to dine on site, a pre-order restaurant menu is available by calling to arrange a reservation.
Chaperones will receive stickers at check-in which must be worn for the visit. Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled program time to check in and avoid cancellation for late arrival.

One chaperone is free for every five paying students; additional adults (ages 18+) paid at $20.00 for aquarium admission.
Is there a booking fee or sales tax on school field trips?
School field trips are not taxed; there is a 6% online booking fee added at checkout.
How far in advance must we book?
Classroom programs must be booked at least three weeks in advance.
What are the group size requirements?
Minimum charge applies for 10 students; maximum group size for one classroom hour time slot is 60 students—if you have more students you will need to book an additional hour time slot.
What happens if we arrive late?
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your classroom program, it will be cancelled and is non-refundable.
Is there storage for lunches and backpacks?
No. Downtown Aquarium does not have a storage area for lunches, coats, or backpacks—keep them on the bus or in backpacks and plan to eat outdoors.
