Each climber must be at least 42 inches (107 cm) tall, able to climb all steps on their own, and must weigh less than 260 pounds. No person may be lifted or carried.

Can I bring water or food?

You may bring water in a non-glass, sealable container; eating and drinking (other than water) are not permitted during the climb.

Is there an elevator or accessibility aid?

There is no elevator; the climb requires stair use and visitors with difficulty climbing should not attempt the ascent.

Can I bring a pet or large bag?

No pets are allowed. Leave umbrellas, backpacks, tripods, coolers and similar carried items in your car — these items may not be brought into the lighthouse.
