THE RIDE

A fast-paced two-hour circuit

The Explorer is explicitly designed as a rapid, two-hour session that merges the best elements of QuadQuest’s Thrill and Endeavour offerings, keeping the pace brisk as riders cover the full valley circuit.

THE TERRAIN

Notgrove Valley’s hidden interior

Beyond the main circuit, the route pushes into the valley’s more secretive depths, offering a mix of open valley riding and tighter, exploratory tracks that reveal the quieter side of Notgrove.

THE FORMAT

One-to-one intensity for adults

This adult-focused session can be booked one-to-one, giving riders a concentrated, instructor-led experience tailored to delivering both thrills and careful navigation through the valley.

What the day feels like

What the two-hour Explorer feels like

Expect a compact, purposeful ride that stitches together fast segments with exploratory forays into the valley. The session is run as a continuous two-hour outing: riders are trained, assessed, and then sent around the Notgrove valley circuit with time allotted to probe the quieter interior tracks — a measured balance of speed and close-quarters exploration.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this trip suits — and who should think twice.

1
Independent adults seeking a high-energy outingDesigned specifically for adults, the Explorer’s two-hour, fast-paced format suits riders looking for concentrated thrills and exploration rather than a relaxed tour.
2
Riders wanting focused instructionThe option to book one-to-one makes this a good match for riders who prefer dedicated instructor time and direct feedback throughout the session.
3
Those with limited mobility or severe health restrictionsNot recommended: all participants must be mentally and physically able to take part, and inability to handle the bike safely may result in session cancellation for that person.
4
First-time quad ridersSuitable if you can demonstrate basic control during the initial training; instructors assess competence and safety before and during the session.
