At Brian Head, the Two Hour Rentals put you behind the wheel of current-model UTVs for a short, focused blast into clearly marked off-road trails that thread through the high-mountain landscape. Each rental begins with a thorough orientation and equipment check so you head into the hills with maps, navigation where provided, and emergency gear in hand — and with the weather and elevation changes of the mountains very much in mind.

Outing Highlights

THE GEAR

All the kit, explained

Every rental includes helmets and goggles, area maps, a plug kit and air pump, and an emergency distress locator; staff run a comprehensive orientation and perform a walk-around and photo inspection of each machine at check-out.

THE FLEET

Current-model machines with in-vehicle navigation

The operator keeps machines to the current model year and fits navigation to all models except the Ranger, so you’ll be driving late-model UTVs with route guidance on many units.

THE RULES

Strict operating rules and clear liability limits

Riding on main roads is prohibited unless the road is explicitly a connector between trails; renters sign a waiver and are responsible for damages up to $1,500, with specific fees for excessive mud and for additional tire wear beyond the allotted amount.

What the day feels like

What the two-hour ride actually feels like

The flow is compact and deliberate: a methodical check-out and orientation at the counter, a short run through marked trails and single- or double-track depending on your chosen route, and a return for inspection and wash as needed. The operator supplies maps and, on most machines, navigation, so even in a short window you can cover scenic mountain trails while staying within site boundaries and safety rules.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who these two-hour rentals suit — and who should think twice.

1
Experienced Off-RoadersA good match for drivers who know trail etiquette and can manage short, intense outings — but be prepared to cover damage costs if you push the machine too hard.
2
First-Time RentersWell suited thanks to the comprehensive orientation, included helmets and goggles, and mapped routes — newcomers should still be mindful of rules and potential fees.
3
Families with RidersFamilies can bring passengers of any age, but the person renting must be at least 21 and hold a valid driver’s license to operate the machine.
4
Budget-Conscious RidersLess ideal unless you accept the financial risk: damage liability caps and extra-fee policies (wash fees, tire-wear charges) can add significant unexpected costs.
