THE FLEET

A bike for every need — from 7-speed city cruisers to assisted e-cargo

Rentals include 7-speed adult bikes, 3-speed child bikes (24" and 20"), cargo bikes and e-cargo bikes, plus tandem options. Bikes are built for comfort — cushioned seats and simple braking systems — and cargo and e-cargo models come with locks for secure stops.

THE FIT

Size guidance keeps kids and adults on the right frame

Recommended heights are provided for each bike type: adult frame sizes like 48 cm, 51 cm and 56 cm map to specific rider heights, while child 24" and 20" sizes cover smaller riders. The operator asks taller children and shorter adults to choose the appropriate bike to ensure a safe, comfortable fit.

THE LOGISTICS

Pickup and return windows shape the day

Bikes can be collected in the morning and must be returned the same day or early the next morning; winter pickup windows are shorter, and late returns incur an extra-day charge — plan your schedule around the operator’s stated times.

What the day feels like

How the day feels

A one-day rental is a nimble way to move like a local: collect your chosen bike, set out across flat, bike-friendly streets, and pause at cafés or piers without the fuss of transit. Cargo and e-cargo options expand what you can carry; tandems make short work of family rides; and the light gear and simple brakes keep handling predictable for all ages.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this one-day rental suits — and when to consider alternatives.

1
Active SightseersIdeal: adults who want to cover neighborhoods and waterfronts easily on a 7-speed city bike or a cargo model for extra gear.
2
Families with childrenGood fit if you select the correct child-bike sizes; note size guidelines for 24" and 20" models and consider tandem or cargo bikes for younger kids and luggage.
3
Shorter adults or tall childrenPay attention to sizing rules: adults under about 150 cm should take a child 24" bike, and children taller than about 150–160 cm must use an adult bike; limited 26" frames exist on request.
4
Visitors on a tight scheduleA one-day rental works well but watch pickup and return windows — winter pickup windows are shorter — and factor in the operator’s return rules to avoid extra-day charges.

Details to review before reserving

Timing & Season

Standard one-day rentals run for a single calendar day; bikes can be picked up from the morning until the early afternoon (earliest 09:00 and no later than 14:30), but during winter (November–March) pickups must occur between 09:00 and 11:00. Return no later than 18:00 on the final day or between 08:30 and 09:00 the following morning to avoid an extra-day charge.

What’s provided

Bikes come with comfortable seats, appropriate gearing (adult 7-speed; child 3-speed), braking systems (front hand brake and rear coaster brake), and locks on cargo and tandem models; e-cargo bikes include an electric motor for assisted riding.

Sizing & booking notes

Recommended frame sizes and heights are published for each bike; taller children and shorter adults are directed to specific bike classes, and a limited number of intermediate 26" bikes are available on request (contact the operator to confirm).

Frequently asked questions

Planning Your Outing

How long is a standard rental?

The offering is a one-day rental; multiday discounts apply from the second day onward.

Is there a discount for consecutive days?

Yes — there is a multiday discount of 30 DKK off the daily rate per bike for your second day and beyond.

When can I pick up and return the bikes?

Bikes may be picked up from as early as 09:00 and no later than 14:30; in winter (November–March) pickups must occur between 09:00 and 11:00. All bikes must be returned by 18:00 on the final booking day or between 08:30 and 09:00 the following morning.

What happens if I return a bike late or to the wrong location?

If you fail to return the bikes by the allowed return time, an extra day will be charged. Returning bikes to a different location incurs an additional fee to cover transporting the bike back.

How do I choose the right bike size?

The operator provides recommended rider heights for each bike: adult frames list recommended ranges (for example 48 cm for ~150–165 cm); child bikes are sized 24" (140–160 cm) and 20" (130–140 cm). If a child exceeds about 150–160 cm they should be booked on an adult bike; adults shorter than roughly 150 cm should use a child 24" bike. A limited number of 26" bikes are available on request.

Are locks and safety equipment provided?

Cargo and tandem bikes come with two locks (a wheel lock and a heavy-duty chain lock); standard bikes include appropriate brake systems and comfortable seats as part of the rental.
