THE ROUTE

The Gold Coast Oceanway — an easy coastal spine

A shared bicycle and pedestrian path hugs the coastline here, making it ideal for linking Coolangatta, Kirra Point and Currumbin and for choosing rides of any length along the oceanfront.

THE BEACHES

World-class surf at your fingertips

The coastline around Tweed and Coolangatta is home to internationally recognised surf breaks; riding the Oceanway places surfers and shoreline views within arm’s reach of your route.

THE KIT

Simple, no-fuss rentals with safety basics included

Bikes are supplied with a helmet and a lock so you can ride and secure your machine as you stop at beaches or cafés along the way.

What the day feels like

What the five-day hire feels like

This hire is about flexible coastal exploration: use the Oceanway to string short beach-to-beach rides, lean into surf-side promenades at spots such as D Bah’s break wall, or head inland to the Tweed River. Over five days you can stitch together relaxed morning loops, afternoon surf-watching runs, and longer days that end back at the shop to swap or secure the bikes.
