Rental periods range from 7 to 30 days (the rental runs from 00:00 on the start day to 23:59 on the final day); for bookings longer than 20 days you must call to arrange the reservation.
Included: transport to route start, 24h telephone assistance, portabultos, waterproof panniers with click mounts, bike lock, Bicigrino water bottle, top-tube bag, repair tool kit, grease and oil kit, gel saddle cover, valve adapter, pilgrimage guide and pilgrim credential.
Not included: bell (the operator encourages respectful overtaking) and lights (not required for daytime stages). Helmets are not provided for hygiene and safety—bring or arrange your own.
Bicigrino delivers across Spain and Portugal; you can also collect at partner shops. Choosing a custom delivery point carries a supplement and returning the bike in Santiago at the specified location is expected to avoid collection fees.

Where do you deliver and can I pick the bike up?
Bicigrino delivers the bicycle to any point in Spain and Portugal; you may also opt to pick it up at a partner shop. Choosing a custom delivery point can incur a supplement.
Where do I return the bike at the end of the Camino?
Return the bicycle in Santiago at Hospedería San Martín Pinario. If you do not finish in Santiago, a 60 € charge will be deducted from the deposit to cover collection and transport back to the warehouses.
Is a helmet included with the rental?
No. Helmets are not included for hygiene and safety and should be supplied by the rider.
What deposit is required and can I pay it in advance?
A refundable security deposit of 200 € is mandatory for each bike. To avoid paying this on pickup, you can make the deposit payment up to 10 days before the rental via the operator's website.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel 30 days before the reservation you receive a 100% refund; cancellations between 30 and 15 days before receive a 50% refund; cancellations later than that are not refundable.
Is assistance or insurance provided?
The rental includes 24‑hour telephone assistance and an assistance insurance program (EUROP ASSISTANCE) covering medical expenses, transfers, repatriation, search and rescue, baggage issues and other guarantees up to the stated limits in the policy.
