Ride Like a Girl is a focused five-week progression that begins in the rock-and-root terrain of Myra‑Bellevue (Crawford) and, as skills develop, moves to flowier options at Smith Creek or Lake Country; small, consistent groups and certified coaches make the series as much about confidence and peer support as it is about technique.

SKILL BUILDING

Progressive coaching across five sessions

The series runs over five weekly sessions with a curriculum designed to move riders from foundational control to more advanced flow and technical riding, led by certified, professional coaches.

GROUP DYNAMICS

Small, consistent groups for confidence and community

Girls ride in categorized small groups—Scouts for foundational trail skills and Shredders for intermediate and advanced flow—so the cohort stays consistent and supportive across the five weeks.

LOCAL TRAILS

From Crawford’s technical terrain to flow at Smith Creek and Lake Country

The program starts at Myra‑Bellevue (Crawford) to establish core skills and may then visit Smith Creek or Lake Country so riders can test new abilities on a variety of local trail features.

What the day feels like

What five weeks on the trail feels like

Two hours once a week, after school: sessions focus on deliberate progressions of balance, control and trail technique. Coaches keep groups small and consistent so riders learn together and gain confidence to try new features; as the series progresses the group may relocate from the starting terrain of Crawford to Smith Creek or Lake Country to apply those skills to different trail types.
