Do I need a NYS boater’s safety certificate?
No. At this time New York State does not require a boater’s safety certificate for the operator of rental boats.
What time can we depart?
Boats can be picked up starting at 8:00 AM.
What time do we need to return to the dock?
Daily rentals must be brought back to the dock by 6:00 PM.
Can the boat be delivered or kept overnight offsite?
Yes. All boats, kayaks, canoes, and SUPs can be delivered. For rentals longer than one day, you may keep the boat at your location and arrange pick-up at the end of the rental.
How many people can ride on the boat?
The maximum capacity for this boat is 10 people with a maximum weight capacity of 1,800 lbs; include people, pets, coolers and equipment when calculating total weight.
How does the fuel charge work?
A full tank of gas is provided at delivery/pickup. Upon return, staff check how much gas was used and charge you the difference at market value.
May I bring my dog?
Yes. Pets count toward the total weight allowance, must be leashed, and owners are responsible for all damage. Life jackets for animals are recommended but not provided; owners should bring fresh water and a bowl.
