Highlights

Outing Highlights

THE BOAT

Dependable power, modern navigation

A 20' pontoon driven by a 40hp Honda outboard with onboard GPS and fitted with the Coast Guard-required equipment gives renters straightforward control and the confidence to navigate local waters.

THE FLEXIBILITY

Single-day to multiday options

Rentals are offered as single-day or multiday bookings, letting you tailor time on the water from a morning sortie to an extended shoreline exploration.

THE SAFETY

Clear capacity and weight limits

For safe and comfortable outings the operator restricts this 20' pontoon to a maximum of eight people and a total weight limit of 1,400 lbs; when planning include people, pets and all supplies in that total.

What the day feels like

What it feels like to rent this pontoon

You collect the boat at Riverbay Adventure Inn, confirm fuel and safety gear, and slip the dock lines to spend your chosen hours — or days — aboard a stable 20' platform powered by a 40hp Honda. Onboard GPS helps you orient on Chippewa Bay while the Coast Guard-required equipment stays stowed and ready.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this rental works best for

1
Small FamiliesSuitable for family outings provided you stay within the maximum of eight passengers and the 1,400 lb weight limit when including cooler(s), gear and pets.
2
Friend GroupsGroups of friends enjoy the stable deck and capacity for socializing, but must plan gear and person weight carefully to avoid exceeding limits.
3
Pet OwnersPets are allowed, but they count toward the total weight allowance; owners must provide a leash and are responsible for any damage.
4
Large Parties (8+)Not a match: the operator restricts this 20' pontoon to a maximum of eight people and a 1,400 lb weight limit, so groups larger than that should book multiple craft.

What to Bring

Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a camera are strongly recommended. A dry bag for phone, wallet and keys is advised.

Clothing & Weather

Conditions on the water can change rapidly: bring a raincoat and warm, dry clothing in case the temperature drops or a storm moves in.

Electronics & Storage

Protect valuables with a dry bag and secure loose items; the onboard GPS covers navigation needs while you should still bring a charged camera or phone in a waterproof case.
