Do I need a NYS boater safety certificate to operate the rental?
No. At this time New York State does not require a boater safety certificate for the operator of rental boats.
What time can we pick up the boat?
Boats can be picked up starting at 8:00 AM.
When must the boat be returned for daily rentals?
Daily rentals must be brought back to the dock by 6:00 PM.
Can the boat be delivered or kept overnight offsite?
Yes. Boats can be delivered to your location, and for multiday rentals you may keep the boat at your location with pickup arranged at the end of your rental.
How many people can be on the pontoon?
The operator restricts the maximum capacity of this boat to 10 people and a maximum weight capacity of 1,800 lbs. Be sure to include people, pets, coolers and gear when calculating total weight.
How is fuel charged for rentals?
The boat is supplied with a full tank at pickup; fuel use is checked on return and you are charged for the difference at market value.
Are pets allowed on the boat?
Yes. Pets count toward the total weight allowance, must be leashed, and life jackets for animals are recommended but not provided; owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
