Wear weather‑appropriate clothing and bring a change of clothes (you may get wet). Bring a water bottle, waterproof bag or phone case, insect repellent (Aeroguard), a hat and sunburn cream. Many of these items (water bottles, waterproof bags, phone holders, Aeroguard, hats, suncream) are available for purchase on site.
If you forget gear, Riverlake Discoveries sells water bottles, waterproof bags and phone holders with floatation, as well as Aeroguard, hats and sunburn cream at the hire location.
Bring or buy Aeroguard and sun protection; the river corridor has exposed stretches where flies and sun are factors.

Where do I park and where is check‑in?
Park at the Eagle Point Boat Ramp (use designated parking only), then walk 350 m to 190 Rivermouth Road to check in.
When should I arrive for my booking?
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time to check in and attend the mandatory safety briefing.
Are lifejackets provided and is there a safety briefing?
Yes. Staff provide lifejackets and run a safety briefing that all participants must attend and follow.
What are the age, height and weight restrictions?
Minimum age to travel as a passenger is 5. Minimum height to ride a bike is 135 cm, maximum height is 198 cm, and maximum weight is 150 kg per waterbike. Children may ride with an adult if the child is under 45 kg and the combined weight does not exceed 150 kg.
Who can book a waterbike?
You must be at least 18 years old to book a waterbike or purchase products, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What if I have a medical condition?
You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of participating and must inform the operator of any medical conditions that may affect your safety.
