The program runs 90 minutes with scheduled departures at 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM.
Departure and return take place at Padelford Riverboats, Harriet Island Regional Park, 205 Dr Justus Ohage Blvd, St Paul, MN 55107.
Students rotate through curated, hands‑on activities focused on birds, ecosystem observation, geology and stewardship; chaperones are expected to assist with field trip functions.
Cost is $12 per student; adults ride free up to 10. Title I schools receive a 30% discount code at registration. A bus stipend of $250 per bus (up to two buses) is available to Title I schools after completion. Registration remains open until maximum slots are filled or closes automatically two weeks before the event date.

What are the minimum and maximum group sizes?
The minimum is 25 students (groups with fewer students will be charged for the minimum) and the maximum is 100 students; groups larger than 100 must register for additional dates or times.
How many adults are required and are there costs for chaperones?
A minimum of 5 adults must accompany the group (at least 3 must be educators from the school). Adults are free up to 10.
Are there discounts or travel stipends available?
Title I schools receive a 30% discount code at registration, and bus stipends of $250 per bus (up to two buses) are available after the trip is completed.
What happens if more students arrive than were paid for?
Additional students beyond those accounted for in the final payment risk not being boarded; Padelford Riverboats and Mississippi Park Connection reserve the right to not board attendees if deemed necessary.
