What is the cancellation and weather policy?
The captain monitors conditions in real time and makes a go/no-go decision one hour before departure; if the captain cancels due to weather, the deposit/initial payment is refunded in full. The operator does not cancel based solely on forecasts—if you cancel because of a forecast and the captain decides to go, the deposit is forfeited. Guest cancellations are fully refundable up to 14 days in advance; within 14 days cancellations are non-refundable.
What should we bring on the tiki boat trip?
Since this is a BYOB charter, bring your preferred beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and snacks, plus weather/boating-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, a hat and a light jacket or cover-up for evening cruises; a camera is recommended. The operator provides coolers, ice and bottled water.
How early should we arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for parking, unloading, the safety orientation and boarding. Free parking is available at Stan’s Idle Hour Seafood Restaurant.
Are bathrooms available on the boat?
Yes. The tiki boat is equipped with a clean, private marine head for use during the trip, though guests are encouraged to use marina facilities before boarding for maximum comfort.
Is gratuity included in the price?
Gratuity is not included. While never required, a customary 15–20% tip for the captain and crew is appreciated for good service.
