What the day feels like

What the Day Feels Like

You start before dawn and spend the morning paddling single or double kayaks—or standing on a SUP—across calm seagrass flats with a naturalist, skimming past juvenile fish and the occasional nurse shark or manatee. The route threads into an old-growth mangrove forest where birds and tight, sheltered channels replace open flats. After a dockside, order-off-the-menu lunch, the group transfers by boat to two reef sites in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary for afternoon snorkels among corals, rays and reef sharks before returning by included transport or meeting-point pickup.
