THE SERVICE

Private, chauffeured charters tailored to your pace

From pickup to drop-off the experience is private and built around your group’s preferences. A Thunderstar chauffeur manages logistics so you can focus on tasting, celebrating, and taking in Sonoma’s countryside.

THE ROUTE

Up to four tasting stops across scenic backroads

The charter can transport your group to as many as four tasting destinations in Sonoma County—whether you select relaxed, affordable rooms or premium vineyard locations, the itinerary is curated around what you want to see and taste.

THE SETTING

Rolling vineyards, small towns, and hidden tasting rooms

Expect classic Sonoma scenery—vineyard views and charming towns—paired with access to local tasting rooms and the operator’s regional knowledge that helps uncover lesser-known spots.

What the day feels like

What the day feels like

Your day begins when a Thunderstar chauffeur arrives at the prearranged pickup point and places the group into a luxury Ford Transit van or, for larger groups, a Ford Minibus. From there the charter moves along Sonoma’s backroads to up to four tasting venues; at each stop guests are dropped at the entrance while the chauffeur remains nearby. The schedule is intentionally flexible—tastings, a lunch or dinner stop, or extra sightseeing can be folded into the day—and at the end of the minimum five-hour charter the group is returned to the original pickup location or another agreed destination.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this experience suits—and who should look elsewhere.

1
Celebration GroupsIdeal for friends or small groups celebrating an occasion who want a private, relaxed day of tastings and views with logistics handled for them.
2
Craft-beer & Wine EnthusiastsWell suited to people wanting curated access to Sonoma’s tasting rooms and craft-beer options, and who appreciate insider knowledge from a local chauffeur.
3
Corporate or Private EventsA good match for small corporate groups or private parties seeking a boutique, booked-out charter where the itinerary can be personalized.
4
Families with MinorsNot ideal: the program is positioned as 21+ tasting experiences, so groups including under-21 participants will not fit the intended experience.
