Wearing a life vest is mandatory until the end of the 11th year of life and is required for anyone who is not a confident swimmer; vests are provided free of charge.
Is there a weight limit for the boat?
Yes—the maximum permitted load is 320 kg per Canadier.
When can I use muscle-powered craft on the Floßgraben?
Muscle-powered craft are allowed on the Floßgraben only during 11:00–13:00, 15:00–18:00 and 20:00–22:00; navigation outside those windows is prohibited.
