After an unguided visit to the SEA LIFE exhibits, the group launches in large team canoes (7–12 people per boat) for a guided crossing of Lake Constance to the Hörnle beach, where a relaxed swim and lunch break precedes the paddle back to the SEA LIFE.

Team canoes across the Bodensee
After the aquarium visit the group boards large team canoes—each for 7–12 people—and paddles across to the opposite Hörnle beach for a scheduled break before returning to the SEA LIFE.

How long is the tour?
The total tour duration is four hours, including the midday break; net paddling time is approximately three hours.
What is included in the price and who pays?
The quoted price is €39.90 per student (price information applies to classes with at least 15 students); chaperones receive two free places for groups of 15 or more, additional supervisors pay the student price.
What are the payment and cancellation terms?
A 20% deposit is required; the remainder is due within one week after the tour. Cancellation because of forecast rain is possible up to three days before the tour (deposit retained). Up to three participants can be canceled free of charge if notified at least three days before, provided minimum participant numbers remain.
Who leads the canoe tour and what safety gear is provided?
Guides are trained by the Bundesvereinigung Kanutouristik. The operator provides boats, paddles, life jackets, dry barrels and, if necessary, rain ponchos.
What happens in cases of severe weather or force majeure?
If the tour cannot run due to force majeure (for example thunderstorms, heavy rain, wind over 3 Bft.), the tour does not need to be paid for; the operator retains the deposit to cover incurred costs.
