There are no numbered parcels: tents are pitched freely across the island. A bridge links the island to the mainland; you may stop for up to 30 minutes to unload, but driving on the camping meadow is not allowed. After unloading, park near the station where a few vehicle spaces are available.
Multiple firepits and a covered grill — wood sold onsite
The site offers a number of small and large firepits (they cannot be reserved) and a small covered grill area with simple seating. Brennholz (firewood) is available for evening fires.
Direct canoe access and bathing points
Three canoe entry/exit points make the island ideal as a start, finish or break in a canoe tour; those same entry points can be used for bathing. Nearby, the MÜHLENWIRT inn and a mini‑market at the station provide food and basic supplies.

Bring your tent and all standard camping gear and be prepared to carry luggage a short distance from the bridge after a brief unloading window. If you bring a dog, bring a leash—dogs must be kept on leash on site. Firewood can be purchased on site.
You may stop on the bridge for a maximum of 30 minutes to unload; after that, park at the nearby Bahnhof where there are a few vehicle spaces. Driving onto the camping meadow is prohibited.
A very limited number of pitches for campers and small motorhomes have electrical hookups; the site is not suitable for large motorhomes or caravans. There are no chemical toilet or grey/black water disposal stations on site.
