Planning Your Outing

When can I launch?

Your reservation is valid anytime during the operator’s launch window on your selected date: between 9AM and 3PM.

How long are rentals?

Standard rentals are 1 hour for kayaks, canoes and SUPs; pedal boats are 30 minutes. Additional time can be purchased onsite with published per‑hour and maximum day charges.

Does the rental include park entry?

No — rentals are located inside De Leon Springs State Park but park entry fees are not covered by the reservation; note the park can reach capacity and deny further entry even to reservation holders.

What are the age and ID rules?

Renters must be 18 or older and present a photo ID (no copies). Minimum participation age is 5; a single passenger must be at least 14 when accompanied by a parent in the group.

Are pets, alcohol or swimming allowed?

No — pets are not permitted in rental equipment, disposable items and alcohol are not allowed to launch, and swimming or exiting your boat is not permitted.

What happens if I'm late returning my vessel?

All vessels must be back at the launch by 5:00PM; late vessels are charged $50 per vessel per hour, with fees assessed beginning at 5PM.
