THE LANDSCAPE

Alpine vistas and historic lakeside architecture

On clear days the circuit rewards paddlers with wide views of an imposing Alpine skyline and stretches of Bäderarchitektur along Lindau’s shore, juxtaposing open water and historic townscapes.

THE ROUTE

Clockwise circumnavigation with a parkside lunch stop

The guided route runs around the island in clockwise direction: a passage under the bridge onto the island, a planned break at the Sina‑Kinkelin Park, then onward past the yacht and ferry harbors toward the harbour entrance.

THE BOAT

Team canoes for groups

The tour is paddled in team canoes sized for 7–12 people and is led by trained guides from the Bundesvereinigung Kanutouristik; boats and basic equipment are provided by the operator.

What the day feels like

What the paddle feels like

The day begins at Park‑Camping Lindau am See and unfolds as a relaxed circumnavigation: guided launches, stretches of paddling interrupted by a lakeside lunch and a formal rest at Sina‑Kinkelin Park, then the focused final leg past yacht and ferry traffic into the harbour approach. Throughout the outing the group receives guidance from trained canoe guides while taking in shoreline scenery and Alpine backdrops.
