The private session runs for approximately 2–3 hours; arrive a little early to find parking and meet outside the Thatched Tavern at TQ14SU.
Bring swimwear, a towel and long socks to cover your ankles; old trainers are useful if you have them. The operator provides wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids, gloves and old shorts to go over wetsuits where available.
Park near the Thatched Tavern (pay-and-display, coins only). Toilets at the meeting point may not open until 10am, and on sunny days parking can be limited—allow extra time to find a space.
