Roll Call, Cake, and a Ride: Host a Military-Vehicle Birthday at the Tucson Military Vehicle Museum.
Celebrate a child’s birthday against the dramatic backdrop of historical military vehicles at the Tucson Military Vehicle Museum. The Arizona Aerospace Foundation runs a focused, two-hour program that pairs age-dependent games and activities with a guided exhibit glimpse and a vehicle ride, while on-site staff handle setup and cleanup so families can concentrate on the celebration.

Outing Highlights
Ride in a DUKW, Deuce-and-a-Half, or Fire Truck
The party includes a thirty-minute vehicle ride in one selected vehicle — options include a DUKW, a deuce-and-a-half troop truck, or a fire truck — giving kids a hands-on encounter with authentic military transport.
Structured Games, STEM Options, and Guided Museum Time
The tentative schedule blends welcome activities and age-dependent games, parachute ice-breakers, guided exhibit exploration when time allows, and an option for present time or a free STEM activity as part of the closing segment.
Turnkey Parties with Staff Support
From setup through cleanup, dedicated museum staff handle the event logistics so hosts can focus on guests; the package is designed to be a hands-off, memorable experience for families.
What the day feels like
What the two hours feel like
The party opens with a brief welcome and check-in—kids jump into banner coloring or short games—before moving into parachute or ice-breaker games tailored to the group. A central thirty-minute segment is devoted to the vehicle ride (one vehicle choice) and a timed guided walk through exhibits if available. The remainder of the event is food and cake followed by presents or an optional STEM activity or add-on time, all run to a clear two-hour rhythm with staff managing flow and cleanup.
