This intensive, three-day Law Enforcement Sniper Advanced Skills Course takes students through tripod-based precision shooting, hide selection, low- and no-light operations, ballistic performance testing and a final qualification—training geared to the evolving real-world missions of modern snipers.

Tripod utilization and unconventional firing positions
The course emphasizes ultra-stable tripod platforms and the construction of final firing positions from tripods, barricades and improvised supports out to 400 yards, refining precision beyond basic prone and bipod techniques.
Low- and no-light shooting drills
Day Two focuses specifically on low- and no-light scenarios, training students to select hides, operate gear like flashlights and chem sticks, and maintain precision when illumination is limited.
Live ballistic demonstrations and performance limits
Students test duty ammunition to learn ballistic performance, use ballistic calculators, and explore shooting through various mediums—knowledge framed around practical limits of duty rounds and equipment selection.

What the three days feel like
The curriculum moves from platform construction and tripod employment to hide-site selection and specialized mission drills. Over three days students practice firing from urban, rural and vehicle hides, address moving targets, evaluate ballistic behavior of duty ammunition, and work gas-mask shooting exercises before a required qualification at course completion.

Bring a tripod if available.
