You’ll interact directly with both mama goats and kids of varying ages, comparing common dairy breeds kept on the homestead and learning handling fundamentals in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Practical Care: Milking, Hooves and Health Basics
The class covers milking basics, hoof trimming, administering routine medications, using a weight tape, record keeping, pasture and fencing essentials, natural worming and herbal remedies — a concentrated primer on daily and seasonal herd care.
Short, Small and Adaptable for Groups
