A shallow-draft, Coast Guard–inspected party boat
Thunder is a custom-built 42' party boat (built 1995) with a shallow 3.5-foot draft and twin diesel engines that cruise smoothly at roughly 16–18 mph; she carries a head and seating under an open-air canopy and is U.S. Coast Guard inspected.
Target a long list of Gulf species
Trips commonly produce an array of fish—grunts, gag grouper, Spanish mackerel, sea bass, cobia, flounder, kingfish, triggerfish, hogfish, mangrove snapper, sea trout, amberjack and bull reds—whether fishing in nearshore shallows or farther offshore grounds.
Filleted catch to take home
The crew will fillet your fish at day’s end and bag the fillets in ziplock bags; ice is available on request so you can take your fresh catch home safely.
