Along the Kenai Peninsula the river opens into long seams and riffles where generations of salmon return with near-clockwork timing. On this full-day guided trip you’ll move through those waters with a seasoned captain at the tiller, practicing spey casting or drifting flesh flies, learning the rhythms of the river and, quite often, feeling the sudden weight of a salmon on the line.

The day alternates instruction and fishing—swinging flies and spey casts, drifting flesh patterns, and casting for sockeye—with guides providing rods, tackle, waders and the know-how that turns chances into fishable moments.
