THE FLEXIBILITY

Flexible rental durations

Charters start at four hours and can be extended; the operator offers a range of durations so you can tailor a half-day of nearshore fishing or a longer offshore chase.

THE CREW

Experienced, bilingual captains and crew

A friendly, bilingual crew handles navigation, baiting, and on-water instruction, doing everything possible to assist anglers during the trip.

THE GEAR

Top-quality tackle and big-game setup

The boat is stocked with quality Shimano gear and big-game essentials—outriggers, tuna tubes and a live bait tank—so you can switch from light-tackle nearshore techniques to offshore trolling, popping or jigging.

What the day feels like

What a day on Lucky I feels like

You meet at one of several Vallarta-area marinas, board the nimble 28′ boat and head out under a shade canopy; the crew rigs Shimano rods, tends live bait, and guides the action as you work nearshore structure or run offshore grounds. The boat’s wide bow eases through chop, and the crew will even lay on snorkeling stops at landmarks like Las Animas or Los Arcos if you choose to combine fishing with a swim. If fish are caught, the crew may prepare ceviche onboard.
