Alaska sport‑fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 and older; bring your fishing license and a king stamp if your trip includes salmon. Pack layered clothing with a waterproof shell, hat and gloves, cameras/phones, motion‑sickness medication if needed, and snacks or drinks (alcohol allowed but no hard liquor or glass).
Breakfast items such as fruit and muffins and lunch sandwiches are included on the second day; dinner in Seldovia is the responsibility of guests.
Bring your Alaska sport fishing license for anyone 16 or older and any required stamps for species targeted (for example, a king stamp if salmon retention applies).

Each angler is allowed a daily bag limit of two halibut: one halibut of any size and one halibut 27 inches or less (around 9 lb for 2025); rockfish, lingcod and king salmon have their own seasonal limits as posted by the operator.
Can we split the charter with another party?
No—the trip is not available to split parties; your group will have exclusive use of the boat.
What are the group size limits?
The charter requires a minimum of five seats for this overnight trip and allows a maximum of six anglers per boat; multiple boats can be provided for larger groups.
When and where do we meet?
Meet-up times vary seasonally: May 15–Aug 24 at 6:15 AM; Aug 25–Sep 15 at 6:45 AM; Sep 16–Oct 1 at 7:15 AM (the exact meet location and time depend on season and will be provided by the operator).
Is gratuity included?
Yes—because the trip includes two days of crew service (meals, overnight fish care and more), a 20% gratuity for the crew is already included in the price.
