What’s provided

Operator provides private transportation from the Yosemite Basecamp in downtown Groveland to Tuolumne Basecamp, all meals from lunch on day one through breakfast on the final day, snacks, drinks, camping equipment, fly rods and reels, leaders and flies, water filtration, first aid and permit fees.

What to bring

A complete personal packing list is provided on request and in your confirmation email; clients should expect to bring personal clothing layers and any personal items not covered on the provided list.

Transport & lodging before/after

Transportation from Fresno, Sacramento or the Bay Area and pre- or post-trip accommodations are not included but are available for an additional fee.

Trip duration & timing

Choose a 2‑day/2‑night or 3‑day/3‑night option; trips start at 8:00 AM on day one and conclude with a return by 10:30 AM on the final scheduled day.

The operator supplies fly rods, reels, leaders, tippet, flies, heated canvas tents, cots, Therm-a-Rest mondo pads, sleeping bags and full camp kitchen and bear canisters.

No — there is no cell or internet service at Tuolumne Basecamp; the program includes games and fly tying to occupy evenings.

What safety provisions and guides are provided?
