LONDON FOOD TOUR FIELD GUIDE
Everything your little chef kneads to know
A 1.5‑hour, hands-on baking class at The Jamie Oliver Cookery School’s Islington HQ where one adult and one child work together to mix, knead and shape two breads — including a rosemary focaccia — then share a BLT and take bread home.
Everything your little chef kneads to know.
Join a hands-on baking workshop at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School’s Islington HQ designed for an adult and a child to work side-by-side. Over 1.5 hours you’ll learn the foundations of bread-making — from using yeast and kneading to shaping and proving — produce two breads (including a focaccia), tuck into a BLT at the chef’s table and leave with fresh focaccia to take home.

Hands‑on bread‑making for two
You and your young cook will learn to mix, knead, prove and shape dough as you make two breads from scratch — transforming pre‑proved wholemeal dough into mini loaves and baking a rosemary focaccia to take home.
A chef’s‑table BLT
After the hands‑on session you’ll tuck into a freshly made BLT around the school’s chef’s table (or box it up to take away), with water provided throughout the class.
Bring a child for free
Book an in‑person kids’ class and the school will give a child’s place free when an adult books a place — subject to availability and the school’s right to amend or withdraw the offer.
